INTRODUCTION
This walkthrough comes in part from XXXX

I've reformated it in HTML order to be more convivial, and
I added things to it.
(1) still on work: I've got to find back is url ;-)
During all your way into this walkthrough, you can use the
see more links in order to
get more details.
Other links
will all popup a page that concerns the stuff we're talking about.
Note that as I dislike multiple popups, it's always the same popup window that is used.
GETTING STARTED
If you are an Ultima Fan, you can step to the next chapter
immediatly. If you are starting in Ultima, and furthermore
in computer rpg here are the basics.
Ultima is a game were you should always talk with people
around. First keywords are "Name" and
"Job", others will follow. Know that you'll have
to come back to ask people about new features.
|
The easiest way to get armor and armament is to buy them or
"Search" them on dead bodies. Naturly they need to be
readied to work. Also, make sureanyone you equip with
(cross)bows don't run out of bolts/arrows or they'll fight
by bare hand (see
Weapons
).
|
|
Many things can be buyed in Britannia. But you don't have
much gold to start with. Search anything you kill in
combat. Whatever they're carrying is yours for the taking.
You can eventually get a few sets of plate mail and swords
like this.
|
At Magincia, you'll be able to buy wool at the sheppard and
sell it to the weaver.
At Paws, you'll find the full chain: sheppard, weaver,
sewer, clother. The best benefit is between the weaver and
the sewer: buy 3gp a thread than weight only 0.4 stones,
and resell it twice its price.
But I feel it too long, my preferate is attacking the
headless/orcs at NW of Britannia, and sell their spears,
axes, leather things at Yew.
(See fully annotated
Britannia's Maps
for listed places)
|
|
Sell what you find and don't need. Nearly each people who
sells things will buy those too but at lower cost naturly.
Mainly you'll sell weapons and armors. See
Weapons
to
know where to sell those.
|
|
It's easy to fight in U6, it's not realtime but round system.
You can set your palls kind of action by setting their
combat behaviour on their inventory page.
